Having previously worked with Paragon Space, Austwel Construction had no hesitation in approaching them again when they needed a 2 Storey Office & Welfare facility for RWE Power at the Pembroke Power Station. The 2 storey building had a total area of 658m2 with the ground floor consisting of Canteen, Male & Female Shower and Changing Facilities and Toilets, the first floor was a large open plan office area with individual offices plus meeting rooms.
The building was finished externally in Clad-Ex giving a better U value meaning the building is more thermally efficient, RED UPVC Windows to match the existing buildings on site, steel doors and fire escape. Internally walls were finished in vinyl-faced plasterboard to the offices and canteen, with the showers, toilets and changing areas having a hygienic PVC wall finish for easy clean. The ground floor had non-slip vinyl throughout and the first floor was carpet tiles. Suspended ceiling to all areas with recessed LED lighting, floor boxes to offices, Heat/Cool AC Cassettes throughout, and a glazed timber internal staircase. We also installed data, fire alarms and a tannoy system at the clients request
