Paragon Space was appointed to deliver a new library and teaching space for St Thomas Apostle Sixth Form College in London. The key requirement was to create a modern, functional environment for students while ensuring the building sat in harmony with the school’s listed architecture.
The project presented two main challenges: designing a modular structure that mirrored the style and character of the existing church and college, and installing a large building within the tight constraints of a central London location. Through careful planning and bespoke design, Paragon Space successfully manufactured a building that blended seamlessly with its surroundings while providing a bright and practical space for study.
The finished library has been warmly received by both the architect and the college, who described themselves as “over the moon” with the result. The success of this scheme has already led to further project awards for Paragon Space, underlining our expertise in delivering complex, high-quality modular buildings in challenging environments.
